The Kazakhfilm Studio is home to the Shaken Aimanov Museum of Kazakh Cinema, which recreates the legendary director's office and displays priceless archival exhibits, from Sergei Eisenstein's camera to original scripts, costumes, and posters from the era of “Soviet Hollywood” to the present day. Here you can see personal items from Shaken Aimanov's collection, rare artifacts from the films “Kyz-Zhibek,” “Kazakh Khanate,” and “Tomiris.” The museum is open to the general public and aims to preserve the unique history of Kazakh cinema.
