The Digital and Film Project Coordination Department provides the most comprehensive range of services in Central Asia for the full cycle of work with digital and analog media. The department's team supports projects at all stages, from digitization and processing to restoration and preparation of materials for distribution and archival storage.
Functions and tasks:
- Digitization, restoration, and repair of films from various eras
- Preparation of digital and film copies for festivals, distribution, and archives
- Quality control of digital files, master copies, and analog media
- Storage and support of media materials at all stages of post-production
- Working with unique equipment: washing, developing, restoring film, and other processes available in a full cycle only at Kazakhfilm
